Honors

Dr. Kun-Si Lin served as the senior vice president of TSMC and the top executives at a number of positions. He has made outstanding contributions to the rapid growth of TSMC, and established a number of organizational units such as marketing, legal etc., as well as European and Japanese branch offices. Dr. Lin has also won many honors for TSMC, including Asia’s Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise, e-Asia Award etc.

Dr. Kun-Si Lin founded Neo Solar Power Corp., which showed outstanding performance in the solar energy field and has been recognized by the industry many times.

• Including No. 5 in revenue growth and No. 6 in profit growth by Business Today in 2008;
• No. 3 fastest growing in manufacturing industry and No. 8 in business performance by Common Wealth Magazine in 2009;
• In 2009, the top 10 among the 500 fastest-growing technology companies and managers in the Asia-Pacific region by Deloitte & Touche in 2009;
• No.8 among the top 100 Taiwanese technology companies by Digital Times in 2011;
• Two awards from the 8th National Brand Yushan Award – “The Outstanding Enterprises” and “Best Product Category” in 2011.

Dr. Kun-Si Lin received the outstanding alumni award from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) and was among the 50 most influential alumni of National Chiao Tung University.
